Turn ReZise into your printable artwork workspace
If you sell digital wall art on Etsy, you probably have a growing collection of designs. Each design might have several print ratios, multiple exports, and different versions created over time.
Keeping track of everything can become a job in itself. Your original artwork might be in one folder, your Etsy-ready ZIP in another, and a custom ratio you made for a customer somewhere else entirely.
ReZise lets you save artwork projects and return to them when you need another export. Instead of treating every customer request as a brand-new job, go back to the relevant project and prepare the ratio you need.
Keep your artwork projects ready for the next request
After uploading artwork and creating a project, return to that saved project to prepare additional ratios or export the artwork again. This is useful whether you sell dozens or hundreds of printable designs.
Saved projects give you a reusable starting point for:
- Creating a custom print ratio for a buyer.
- Preparing additional formats for an existing Etsy listing.
- Re-exporting artwork when you need a fresh copy of the files.
- Adding more print options to older designs.
- Managing a growing catalogue of digital artwork.
How to create a custom print size for an Etsy customer
“I love your print! Would it be possible to get it in 30 × 40 cm to fit my frame?”
You don’t need to rebuild the artwork from scratch. Return to the saved project, prepare a file with the matching aspect ratio, and download it. Keep in mind that ReZise custom formats are entered as ratios, and the source image must contain enough pixels for the requested physical size.
- 1
Save your artwork as a project
Upload your finished artwork to ReZise and create a saved project. Give it a recognizable name that matches the artwork or Etsy listing, such as:
- Blue Floral Portrait
- Vintage Botanical Print
- Abstract Terracotta Shapes
- Landscape No. 12
A consistent naming system makes it easier to find the right design when a customer gets in touch weeks or months later.
- 2
Return to the project when a request arrives
Open the saved artwork project instead of uploading the same image again. You can focus on preparing the new format rather than repeating the initial setup.
- 3
Choose the ratio that matches the request
ReZise’s custom format control takes a width-to- height ratio, not a physical measurement in inches or centimetres. Match the customer’s requested dimensions to their ratio, then check that the output can print at the requested size at 300 DPI.
Customer request Ratio to select Check before delivery 30 × 40 cm 3:4 portrait ratio Confirm the output supports 30 × 40 cm at 300 DPI 40 × 50 cm 4:5 portrait ratio Confirm the output supports 40 × 50 cm at 300 DPI 12 × 12 inches 1:1 square ratio Confirm the output supports 12 × 12 inches at 300 DPI 16 × 20 inches 4:5 portrait ratio Confirm the output supports 16 × 20 inches at 300 DPI For example, 30 × 40 cm is a 3:4 ratio. ReZise exports the largest file your source supports without upscaling; verify that its pixel dimensions are sufficient for the intended print size.
- 4
Review the crop and print quality
Check that the artwork looks right in the new ratio. Adjust the framing and check whether the original image has enough resolution for the requested print size at 300 DPI. If it does not, consider using a higher-resolution source rather than promising a sharp result the file cannot deliver.
- 5
Export and deliver the file
Export the new print file and provide it through the delivery method you agreed on. For an Etsy order, follow Etsy’s current rules for digital files and buyer communication. If the purchase is a made-to- order digital item, set up the listing and fulfilment process appropriately.
The result: a repeatable workflow for handling custom requests without recreating your entire print bundle every time.
Why this matters for your Etsy business
Offer a more personal service
Not every customer owns a standard frame. Preparing a suitable ratio can help you serve buyers with an existing frame, a particular wall space, or a preferred metric dimension.
Spend less time on administration
Opening an editor, changing canvas dimensions, adjusting artwork, and exporting for every request adds up. Saved projects give you a consistent starting point and reduce repeated setup.
Make older listings more useful
If a customer discovers an older piece in your shop, return to its saved project and prepare another ratio when it suits the artwork.
Keep your workflow organized
A consistent project library makes it easier to return to artwork and prepare new exports as your catalogue grows, instead of relying on memory or scattered downloads.
Your exact storage capacity depends on your ReZise plan, and larger high-resolution files use more storage.
Custom sizes, without the manual resizing routine
Starter and Pro include custom print formats alongside standard Etsy ratios and ISO A-series sizes. ReZise’s custom format is an aspect ratio: enter width and height parts, then review the resulting crop and supported print dimensions.
Use standard ratios for regular listings and a custom ratio when a customer needs something different. For example, a regular listing may include 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, and ISO A-series files. If someone asks for a 30 × 40 cm print, use the matching 3:4 ratio and confirm the source supports that physical print size at 300 DPI.
Changing the physical dimensions does not add detail to the original image. Always check that your source artwork supports the requested print size.

Frequently asked questions
Can I store all my Etsy artwork in ReZise?
You can save artwork projects and return to them for future exports. Storage depends on your plan, so check your usage if you have a large catalogue of high-resolution artwork. Keep an independent backup of your original artwork as well.
Can I make a custom size after I have published my Etsy listing?
Yes. Return to the saved project and prepare another ratio when a customer requests it. You can deliver the new file to the buyer or update your listing as appropriate.
Do I need to upload the same artwork every time?
Saved projects let you return to existing artwork rather than repeat the initial setup for every export. Open the project and prepare the additional ratio you need.
Can I create sizes in centimetres as well as inches?
The custom format control uses a width-to-height ratio, not a unit field for physical dimensions. For example, 30 × 40 cm has a 3:4 ratio. Select that ratio, then check that the export supports your intended physical size at 300 DPI.
Can I create any size a customer asks for?
You can create custom aspect ratios within ReZise’s supported options. The original artwork’s pixel dimensions still matter: a very large print may need a higher-resolution source to look sharp at 300 DPI.
Does ReZise automatically send the custom file to my customer?
ReZise prepares and exports the file. You remain responsible for delivering it through the appropriate marketplace or delivery method.
What happens if I reach my storage limit?
Available storage depends on your subscription plan and the size of your saved projects. Check your current storage usage and plan allowances if you approach the limit.
